BODYWORK
Reflexology
Believed to date as far back as ancient Egypt, Reflexology stimulates nerve endings in the feet and/or hands to relieve discomfort and promote overall well being. The feet and hands act as maps of the body with different areas representing specific body parts. Reflexology can alleviate allergy symptoms, stress, back pain, and chronic fatigue. It is often recommended for fibromyalgia. This treatment is extremely relaxing and is wonderful for holistic rebalancing.
Reiki
A specific technique that individually strips each muscle treated from attachment point to attachment point. Deep Tissue can be provided with any level of pressure, and indeed the amount of pressure often varies relative to the sensitivity level of the muscle being addressed. However, because this modality is so specific, it will often feel quite intense even in the instances when very minimal pressure is implemented.
Raindrop Therapy
Young Living’s proprietary Raindrop Technique® combines unique, targeted massage and energy approaches with pure, authentic essential oils for a deeply harmonizing, rejuvenating, and relaxing experience. The technique, developed by Young Living Founder and CEO D. Gary Young, draws from his experience with Lakota wellness traditions and provides a revolutionary means of nurturing harmony—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Shiatsu
Originating from Japan, Shiatsu is based on the idea of Ki, the Japanese term for the all pervasive energy that flows through the universe. The human body itself both is and is made up of Ki. Ki flows through our bodies along meridians, replenishing itself through all forms of intake – physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional. Through trauma in any of these four areas, our bodies can develop blockages along the meridians. Shiatsu stimulates or relaxes pressure points along the meridians to holistically rebalance Ki and bring relief to the client treated.
